- 1X2
- A betting market where you pick either the home team to win (1), a draw (X), or the away team to win (2).
- Accumulator
- A single bet that combines multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out, multiplying the odds.
- American Odds
- Odds displayed as a positive or negative number; positive shows profit on a $100 bet, negative shows amount needed to win $100.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap bet that gives one team a virtual lead or deficit to equalize the chances, eliminating the draw option.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether both teams will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or minimizing loss.
- Chasing Losses
- The risky practice of increasing your bets after a loss in an attempt to recover lost money.
- Correct Score
- A bet on the exact final score of a match, such as 2-1 or 3-0.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a single number, such as 2.50; multiply your stake by this number to calculate total returns.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes in a match, increasing your chance of winning.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where you get your stake back if the match ends in a draw, essentially removing the draw option.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction, e.g., 5/2; the first number indicates profit relative to the second number staked.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that combines the result at half-time and the result at full-time, e.g., home/away or draw/draw.
- Handicap
- A betting advantage given to one team to level the playing field, reflected in the odds.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that a bookmaker charges on a bet, usually built into the odds.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer; a process where the betting site verifies your identity to prevent fraud and ensure legal compliance.
- Licensed Operator
- A betting site that is legally authorized to operate, meeting regulatory standards for fairness and security.
- Odds
- The numerical expression of how likely an outcome is to happen, determining your potential profit.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be higher or lower than a set number.
- Parlay
- A bet that links two or more individual bets together; all must win for a payout, offering higher odds.
- Push
- A tie result in a bet where the stake is returned, neither a win nor a loss.
- Responsible Gambling
- Practices and tools promoted by betting sites to help players gamble safely and avoid addiction.
- Round Robin
- A series of smaller parlay bets created from a list of selections, spreading risk across multiple combos.
- Void
- A bet that is canceled and the stake is refunded, usually due to a match being postponed or rules changes.
